Creation

Blood Tiger was created by writer Judd Winick and drawn by artist Ben Oliver, as a criminal working outside the fictional city of Tinasha within the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Batwing

He is fleeing in the back of a armed jeep with several henchmen, when Batwing incapacitates him, flies into the air holding onto him and questioning why he bails out on a deal for the largest heroin shipment in the country. Blood Tiger begs for a quick death at the hands of Batwing instead of being butchered by his mysterious benefactor.
