Black Terror #8

The climactic finale to this pulse-pounding story arc! Black Terror's quest to help the plight of his former ally - the American Crusader - concludes here, but will the Terror survive to fight another day? The Black Terror fights through an army of American Crusader clones to save his friend the original American Crusader who is being cloned against his will.  Just as Terror busts through the door he is met by the well intentioned Colonel Marcus Chamberlain and everything Area 51 has to offer.  This includes an army of aliens.  
 
Nothing however is holding Terror back.  He busts through everything Area 51 can mass and now it is down to just Chamberlain alone to protect American Crusader.  As it turns out both men want what is best for the Crusader but have no idea they are on the same side.  Eventually they both realize there biggest problem is every clone of the Crusader are homing in on their location.  They have one chance to destroy all the clones and let Crusader die but it will kill Chamberlain.  Sacrificing himself Chamberlain sets off the destruction of the clones and when the dust lifts the clones are gone and Chamberlain and the Crusader are merged.  Thus creating the new American Crusader.
