After the stunt pulled at the warehouse on her day-off, Maggie is suspended from the force. She and her father visit her mother at an elder care facility where her father grows quite angry to find his brother there leading to a heated exchange of threats while Maggie spends time with her silent mother. When Maggie's finally home, she receives a delivery- a dark, exquisite pearl set in a dragon-shaped fitting hanging on a chain. She assumes it came from her boyfriend currently delayed in Tibet.
Progress is also made on the case and after finally learning the owner of the two warehouses involved, Commander Sun pays a visit to his brother to demand answers. Only things take a turn for the worst leaving blood in it's wake.
