    Origin

    Known to most Atlanteans only via legends and myth, The Black Sea People where persecuted out of Atlantis by the Royal Family due to their pagan rituals and beliefs. They eventually settled in the Black Sea. Overtime "The People" developed high level telepathic powers.

    Creation

    The Black Sea People were created by writer Gerry Conway. They first appeared in the story "...Under the Name of Ritual" in Sub-Mariner #40 (Aug. 1971)
