    Picking up Batwoman with apprehension, I studied the cover, made some soft noises of general approval, nodded my head and opened the book.BANG. The illustration which explodes off the cover's inside pages immediately made me sit up and take notice. It depicts Batwoman in midair smashing through a window feet first. And that's exactly how I felt when I began to read this book.Firstly, I feel it is vital to highlight the most impressive quality about this book; the art work. It demands attention. ...

    She Will Soldier On! 0

    The art alone is just so fantastic, but the story was not as good as Elegy. It was still good, just did not have that "you have to read this" feel as in Elegy. Maybe because you do have to read Elegy before you pick this one up. I did like the romance between Kate and Maggie. It was romantic at times. The two reasons I really enjoyed this though were the art and the character of Batwoman. The art is good I think. Williams knows how to fill a page with beauty. In addition, I really like Batwoman ...
