The second version of Sharon defends herself against an attack on her Raptor by several free-floating humans in space suits. Those attacking her are hoping to capture her to barter her for time aboard ship. The attackers were originally part of a satellite construction team left stranded in space when the Cylons destroyed their ships. The men’s only island is a small barge that can house only twenty people at a time. The men can only earn barge time by bartering something of interest to the barge’s captain, in this case, Sharon.
On board Galactica, the older generation Cylons continue their attack on Sharon until Adama presses the self-destruct button on a remote, causing the Cylons to explode. Baltar had equipped each of the Cylons with small explosive devices in their helmets. Dr. Cottle is able to revive Sharon.
At the barge, the other Sharon convinces her attackers that they should take over the barge, which they do, with Sharon killing the captain and taking his position.
