    Who Is Worthy Of The Cowl? 0

    The Story: Batman is gone and the criminals of Gotham begin to exploit his absence. Someone posing as Batman is running around the city. Nightwing calls in reinforcements as they all desperately try and restore some type of order in Gotham. My Thoughts: This is the first story to take place after the death of Bruce Wayne. Tony S.     Battle for the Cowl plus the two Gotham Gazette ( Batman Dead? / Batman Alive?) issues included in this volume make for a nice bridge between the events of Final Crisis and the post-Bruce Wayne Batman world.Battle for the Cowl, itself, was a three issue mini-series written and drawn by Tony S.     Originally posted on my blog, The Comics Cove, not too long ago...When I first heard about Batman: Battle for the Cowl, I was impressed about a number of things, most importantly that DC had the gonads to kill off one of their most popular characters of all-time (I know these things never last, but still). The promotional art for it suggested that virtually every vigilante character in the Bat-Family would be involved, which eventually turned out not to be the case. But what we do end up getting...
