    1. Hop On the Welfare Wagon!: (public service message from Superman) A man tells Mr. Stanton that Superman will speak for their hospital fundraiser. He responds "Who needs a hospital in this town? I can take care of myself. I'm not giving a red cent, Superman or no Superman." Just then, Superman shows up saying he "has the wrong slant" and explaining that Americans have always helped each other when sickness and trouble came.
    2. The Jail For Heroes: (Batman) A crime boss named Scar Brink captures lawmen and puts them in his own prison, including Batman and Robin. he uses the threat of unmasking Batman to keep the other lawmen in line and the threat of killing them to keep the dynamic duo in line.
    3. Shorty: (humor strip by Henry Boltinoff) Shorty goes to a tailer and gets a suit that fits perfectly. the tailer tells him they guarantee the suit then dumps water on his saying "See? Guarenteed not to shrink in the rain!"
    4. Commissioner Gordon's Greatest Case: (Batman) While Batman is cleaning up in Gordon's private bath after a fight, Gordon realizes he could learn Batman's true identity by using his concealed 2 way mirror. He decides not to but becomes obsessed with figuring out who Batman really is without taking advantage of their friendship.
    5. Private Pete: (humor strip by Henry Boltinoff) Pete is cleaning around his bunk before inspection for the first time. when the drill sargent arives he asked who put a rug down and Pete responds that he needed something to sweep the dirt under.
    6. Jerry The Jitterbug: (humor strip by Henry Boltinoff) the school paper is having a contest to pick the prettiest girl on campus and as editor Jerry is the judge. all the girls in school start inviting him to parties andasking him out but after he anounses the winner they all cancel and avoid him. even the winner starts going steady with a football player.

    8. Varsity Vic: (humor strip by Henry Boltinoff) Vic gives his class pin to a girl and she tells him she will always wear it, even when she goes on dates with other boys.
    9. The Mask Of Mister Cypher: (Batman) Rummers are spreading that Batman is selling hunting licenses to criminals, a coin that they can show him so he will let them get away. in fact these coins identify undercover cops who have volinteared to be given new identities by a crime boss called Mister Cypher, complete with a new face and new fingerprints (as this is before DNA evidence that left no way to link them back to their old crimes) in hopes of getting vital clues to identify and arest him.
