Backlashs past comes back to haunt him, in more ways than one. First, he is discovers and tries to reconnect with a teenage daughter he never knew he had. Then, an old foe discovers his whereabouts and attacks when he is at his weakest.
Shortly after meeting his daughter Marc, Backlash, attempts to bond with her and figure out who she is. Meanwhile the Kindred ransack their house hoping to find and capture Backlash. They cannot find him but a note on the fridge tells them he's at Coney Island. They quickly suprise and overpower Marc.
