    The Avengers return from a mission and find themselves in a riot with protesters. It appears that the public aren't too happy with the Sub-Mariner being amongst their ranks. They haven't forgotten the few times he has attacked mankind, and they're vocally addressing their grievance. Later, a villain by the name of Moonstone angers the crowd even further, by claiming Sub-Mariner killed her husband which turns out to be a lie. She's later defeated, apprehended, but sprung loose by a larger outfit ...
