    Avengers Academy #22 - Disappointments by matkrenz on November 20, 2011

    Story: Cyke, Emma and Magneto arrive at the academy in order to let Magneto scan Jocasta or some such.Thoughts: I believe there is one word that describes this series for me and that is "inconsistent". It is inconsistent for many reasons, while the issue continues the story it is dragged down by characters acting in very dumb fashions with very stilted dialogue and I am now hating on Hazmat again. First off Hazmat, so Jenny thinks that Julie is a lesbian because she says things like "GO TEAM GIR...

    I have read the Avengers Academy from issue one and have been a big fan of it from the start. I am especially excited to see the new students on the field. However, having said that this wasn't much of an issue. I don't know if it seemed rushed or if it seems slow I guess there just wasn't much going on. We got to see some character development between Quicksilver and Finesse, who have developed a very intriguing student teacher relationship. I didn't much care what else went on in the issue, no...
