An Unknow figure is running from something at the start of the book, attempting to reach the Avengers. The Avengers discuss the recent protests against mutants and african-americans. Justice gets his cast removed and then talks with Angelica, wanting to ask her something. Quicksilver arrives at the mansion, finding someone looking through Avengers trash, before confronting the Avengers about it. Justice unveils a new costume as they discuss the Triune understanding, which Duane Freeman is a member of, suprisingly. A rocky tower is floating above the city, and the Avengers respond.
It is revealed to be the Exemplars, looking for Juggernaut. They are not unified, and argue amongst each other. They finally find Juggernaut and attack him, taking him away in front of the Avengers.
