    AVENGERS ASSEMBLE FOR A REVIEW!!! 0

    Story Avengers #1 starts out immediately after the events of Siege. Immortus Master of Time has just been defeated by some kid version Avengers. Steven Rogers is recruiting members for the team. Some are eager and some are not so eager. Wonderman is totally against the idea because he believes that all they do is cause destruction.     This debut issue featuring the triumphant return of the Avengers, is enough to get almost anyone pumped about the Heroic Age. Bendis melds his own style with that of the classic early days of the Marvel Universe as we know it. The concept is executed well enough, that you barely notice John Romita Jr.'s lackluster effort here.     I will admit that I had high expectations for this book when it was announced.  I knew that coming out of the Dark Reign world that the Avengers would be a big deal again.  I kept my mouth mostly shut when I found out who the artist for the book was going to be.  I told myself it would be alright and that I should not start kicking things yet.  I am torn.  I love that the big three are back.  I love that Clint is back as Hawkeye and I love the concept of the story line.  I am just not big on the...
