    'Arak' Moves From Sword-and-Sorcery To Pulp Adventure 0

    Arak, Son of Thunder #32 - Dragon's Doom! by gc8 on December 21, 2012

    This is a good jumping on point for new readers. Arak and Satyricus wander further east (into what is modern day Lebanon), and encounter a Tyrannasaurus Rex near an oasis. This is a refreshing change-of-pace as Arak moves from traditional sword-and-sorcery into 'Lost World' pulp territory. I may be biased as ever since I read a Gold Key Tarzan when I was a kid that had the same type story, I've been a sucker for this sort of thing.But honestly, it's a really good issue - a standalone story that'...
