    History

    Blake Schiel was the child of abusive parents in Phoenix, Arizona. Her childhood experiences led her to become a very violent, angry person. As she grew up, her violent tendencies developed into criminal activity. She was arrested and convicted after attempting armed robbery of a bank, but broke out of prison when she discovered her mutant ability to conjure monster-like animals from other dimensions. Angry at the whole world, she dubbed herself Animax and unleashed her beasts on innocent people until she was stopped by the X-Men.
