    ORIGIN

    Christine Cross was a meek student working inside a laboratory at the University of Chicago when her research opened a wormhole that connects to an adjacent reality. When she reached out to touch something within the emerging portal, she brushed against a creature residing within and fused with its reality.

    POWERS

    Amalgam can assume the powers of others near her or inhabit their bodies, though not both simultaneously. As a result of assimilating too many times, she fears she is starting to go insane. She keeps this well hidden from her colleagues, as she does not want to lose their trust.
