A thief from the ancient Middle East that stumbled upon various treasures.
Creation
The character derives his origin from A Thousand and One Nights and thus is far older than comic book publishing. The early years of comics (before superheroes) often featured characters from legend and he is no different.
Character Evolution and Major Story Arcs
Generally when presented his stories are just variations of those told previously, although he has been written as one of the main characters in
Fairest.
Powers and Abilities
A regular human, he occasionally employs magical items. He is also an adept acrobat, skilled thief and capable hand-to-hand combatant.
