    Allen Bellman was born in Manhattan in 1924. He studied at the High School for Industrial Arts.

    In the Early 40's he became a staff artist for Timely Comics. He did work for Captain America, The Human Torch, The Patriot, The Destroyer, Jap Buster Johnson, Jet Dixon of the Space Squadron, All Winners Comics, Marvel Mystery Comics, Sub Mariner Comics, Young Allies, Vampire Brats, Suspense and many more.

    He is a reknowned photographer and is one of the few remaining pioneers of the comic industry.

    Terrific with fans, very nice and loves to tell stories!!!!
