    Aku Kwesi is the catalyst to Vixen's return to Africa, because fifteen years earlier he murdered Vixen's mother. He is also, indirectly the person who caused the superhero of Vixen to exist. By killing Mari's mother, he made Mari an orphan which inadvertenly caused her to come to America and become Vixen
