    Superman blows up a comet brought down by Brainiac, giving everyone in Metropolis superpowers! Everyone except for Dan Turpin, who never wanted superpowers to begin with. Could it all be a gag by an imp from the Fifth Dimension?

    Notes:

    • "Watch This Space" "Number 98-12" one page text piece featuring the Riddler's Revenge roller coaster opening at Six Flags Magic Mountain. DC personnel head to Coney Island for the day. A continuing tribute to Archie Goodwin. At SUNY-Stony Brook held their 17th annual sci-fi and comic book convention I-Con. Plus, Grant Morrison aiding in the upcoming One Million storyline event. Finally, "Read This Space!" featuring comics books that were to be released for the week.
