Dream Girl has an urgent message for Superboy's ears only. Suddenly, the Legion are transported to a remote, uncharted planet in the galaxy where Superboy is killed by a monster with kryptonite teeth. Duo Damsel feels depressed and useless while the other Legionnaires work to set up camp. Bouncing Boy makes an effort to cheer up Duo Damsel, and it works. The Legion creates a rocket from the minerals on the planet and make their way back to Earth. It's revealed that Superboy brought them there on purpose to save their lives.
