    Thriller Bark Arc

Within the fortress ship of Thriller Bark Absalom's primary role is that of reconnaissance. He confirms the number and identity of Straw Hats before taking command of the General Zombies of Gecko Moria. General Zombies are made from the corpses of legendary fallen warriors who have been restored and enhanced by the muscle grafts provided by Dr. Hogback's surgical skills. These warriors are also granted power and skill of shadows Moria has taken from skilled pirates. Being the voyeur that he is he sets his sights on Nami and conspires to separate her from the rest of the crew at every opportunity to enact his own shotgun wedding.

Although given a lot of grief from Sanji who accuses him of stealing his dream he manages to sneak away with Nami once again. Nami manages to incapacitate Absalom by befriending the powerful General Zombie Lola. After the Straw Hats conquer Thriller Bark and defeat Moria, Absalom helps Hogback and Moria escape in a ship.

    Post Time-Skip

He is currently acting as a freelance journalist and informant under the pseudonym "Absa" and still bares Moria's mark.

    Powers & Abilities

With the power of the Clear-Clear Fruit Absalom can turn himself and any object he touches invisible to the naked eye. All other senses can detect him except sight. The mass of items he can turn invisible range from weapons and objects attached to his body to entire ships including Thriller Bark itself. Absalom's strength has also been enhanced by Hogback's muscle grafts using muscle tissue from wild beasts and possesses a lions maw. Absalom will always choose to escape from a fight that's not going his way and will use any means to do so.
