Flyboy

Early Life

When Barry Chase was younger he was just a normal kid living in Sol City. One day one of Red Cowl's enemies The Surgeon is on a murdering spree and ends up mutilating Barry's parents in front of him. At this moment his dormant powers awakened and out of anger and despair he kills The Surgeon. The Red Cowl witnesses this and decides to take Barry in to train him and put him on the right path.

Flyboy

Barry Chase takes on the hero name of Flyboy due to his ability to fly and becomes Red Cowl's sidekick. They are beloved and are known as Sol City's guardian angels. It was the best time of Flyboy's life. In a parade for his mentor being done for them saving the day once again, Red Cowl is assassinated. Flyboy goes on record saying he will catch whoever did this. Almost a year after Red Cowl's death Barry still hasn't lived up to his word and is mostly seen as a joke. With no respect being shown to him he becomes a depressed alcoholic and threatens hookers with jail time unless they give him oral sex. Knowing he will never outlive Red Cowl's shadow and will always be seen as a pathetic hero who couldn't even catch his mentor's killer he decides to leave Sol City.

The Bullet

Flyboy secretly purchases a new uniform and pays off the dealer to not tell anyone about it. Barry than goes by the name of The Bullet, a name he chose because the bullet that killed Red Cowl literally changed his life. Barry makes a move to St. Louis and saves a young woman's life and was immediately accepted. Getting offers for corporate sponsorships, things seemed to be going in the right direction for Barry. Barry continued to save civilians and stop crimes, but the whole time he was being manipulated by Julia Moonglow, an old adversary of Red Cowl, so that he can learn the truth about his mentor. The next morning when he wakes up to seal the deal on his sponsorship he makes a career-killing mistake by showing up in his Flyboy uniform, and was shunned from St. Louis where they were considering filing a law suit. Again began the descent into despair for Barry who was seen as even more of a joke now.

Sidekick

While contemplating suicide, Barry hears of Professor Tennebaums murder. The Professor was an associate of the Red Cowl, so Barry suits up to investigate. Upon arriving on the scene he runs into Julia Moonglow who begins to tell Barry about Red Cowl and the person he really is. Revealing to Flyboy that Red Cowl killed her sister and faked his own death. Barry teams up with Julia in crime and romantically so they could both get revenge on Red Cowl. No longer going by Flyboy or The Bullet, Barry makes a new uniform for his villanous career and goes by The Sidekick.

Powers and Abilities

Flight:

Barry Chase has the ability to fly at high speeds though those are not determined.

Durability:

Due to the nature of his abilities, Barry is highly durable to blunt force trauma. The only things that can severely injure him are gunshot wounds and stab wounds.

Fast Metabolism:

Barry's metabolism is at a level where he cannot get drunk unless he consumes a massive amount of alcohol and has is unaffected by most toxins.

Hand to hand combat:

Barry is a proficient hand to hand combatant, being able to take on a whole bar full of other villains with Julia Moonglow by his side
