There was a considerable amount of speculation about whether or not Flashpoint would affect DC's regular Universe —and it seems that the question regarding how it will fit in with continuity has been answered. Barry Allen awakens to find the world he once knew turned on its head. Fellow heroes and many of his friends are now his enemies, and he is forced to find those responsible for the changes. This is not the first time that DC has used a change in the time stream to tell an interesting story. Time travel in comics is not something to be taken lightly —any slight change can cause massive ripples in current continuity, with often some rather grave circumstances.
