    A Pretty Pointless Issue 0

Unlike the most vocal comic followers on the net, I have been enjoying the Flashpoint storyline.  Sure, it could've just been an Elseworlds story and it's not as huge as previous DC continuity altering stories, but it's been enjoyable on its own.  (Without thinking about how relevant it is to the coming revamp) This issue, however, was largely pointless.  Almost all of the story here has been told in other books and there's nothing especially intriguing about seeing it from the villians' point o...

    Should have been more 0

This issue details the final events of the war between the Atlanteans and the Amazons.  For some time forces behind the scenes have been working to first unite the two nations and then force them against one another.  Most of what occurs is the admission of the guilty parties of the transgressions they have made.  The rest of this issue is consumed by battle sequences all of which are not entirely engaging.  By now this war has become almost a non-event as it has taken too long to build to a cli...

Above average story & art but still satisfying. 0

With Flashpoint winding down, all of DC's tie-in series are trying to wrap up. Some have finished strong while others have fizzled. Some have been strong stand alone books while others have tried to tie in directly to the main story. "Wonder Woman and the Furries" #3 basically covers the same time span that we find in Emperor Aquaman #3 but from a different perspective. What's impressive is that both mini-series have done a pretty good job of capturing the overall picture of what's going on.  D...

Wow a fight of the century that lasted for one page. Wow NOT! 0

Flashpoint: Wonder Woman and the Furies #3 of 3. The title explains my cynical and sarcastic opinion of this comic. This issue just sucked! But I'll get more into detail about why it "sucked" later in this review. So this is the big conclusion of wonder woman and the furies! Yeah some big conclusion? Terra raises some earth for the amazons, Orm and Penthesilea were traitors on both sides, and Diana goes to fight Arthur but we only see on page of that. Some fight of the century?   The GOOD! I do ...

Flashpoint: Wonder Woman And the Furies #1-3 0

Something happened to the timestream and the superheroes of the known universe are no longer the same! This applies to heroic icon, Wonder Woman, more than anyone who now leads an army of women warriors against former allies in a war that threatens to engulf the entire planet. What started out as an almost fresh and vogue take on the Amazing Amazon quickly fell apart in this mini-series middle and final chapters.   The young Princess Diana of the Amazons seemed a confident, compassio...
