Flashpoint: Wonderwoman and the Furies Okay, I want to keep it short. I have 3 points to say here:  1. The Art is very bad here. There is no consistency in the appearence of the characters at all, and at some points it looked really bad. 2. The Story is poor done. I read every Flashpoint issue till now, and i had the impression that everything in this particular has been said before and that there is only one new fact in this story which i did't new till now: SPOILER WARNING: Click here to rev...

Do Not Mess With Her. Do Not Bother Reading About Her Either. 0

After a very bland and lifeless first issue, Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning try to get a little more personal with the conflict between Wonder Woman and Aquaman in this issue, only to end up with what reads like a very lazy effort from the writing team. It is a story that goes through the motions as if it barely cares and gives readers nothing.  Unfortunately, Wonder Woman and the Furies is probably the most important of the Flashpoint tie-ins, because this is where we are getting the history of th...

I liked the first issue of this Flashpoint tie-in miniseries as the marriage of Diana and Arthur provided an interesting take on DC history, but here the action falls off substantially.  Much of the issue is spent in diplomacy in regards to the previous issue's assassination of Hippolyta.  The action is not particularly compelling here either as the two sides have to deal with geological or natural forces as much as with one another.  The sole interesting point was the battle between Hera and Di...

Flashpoint: Wonder Woman and the Furies #2 of 3 Hey everyone just to start off by saying that this comic received a lot of negative reviews on this website so I feel a bit awkward giving it a high grade but whatever it's my opinion so I'm just gonna go with how I felt about this comic. The basis of this comic was to show us the madness between The Amazons and the Atlanteans unfold and I think that was done very well in this issue. There are more covert treacherous attacks on Themyscira which lea...

Feels more like CliffsNotes than storytelling... 0

The Flashpoint Wonder Woman and Emperor Aquaman books have basically been telling the same story but from different perspectives. Each adds a little more information to the bigger story of the war between the Amazons and the Atlanteans. In "Wonder Woman and the Furies" #2 we do get some new information but it's mostly a book that relays things we've already figured out.  Abnett and Lanning handle the writing in an issue tha feels more like CliffsNotes than storytelling. It's a decent story but i...
