FLASH FACT: And now, the final show! If the Graysons don't survive, there may be one person who can help their cause…

After the Amazons brutally attacked the Polish town where Deadman and the Grayson family were performing, little more than ashes of their pasts remained. While gasping his final breaths, John Grayson begged Boston Brand to protect his son, no matter the cost. As Dick watches his father die, he transforms from a performer to a soldier as he vows to make sure the Amazons never get their murderous hands on the weapon they came looking for: the Helmet of Nabu. To what lengths will Dick go to stop the Amazons’ mission and what sacrifices will Boston have to make to keep him safe?

A Death-Defying Act 0

Story/Writing  The exciting conclusion to Deadman and The Flying Graysons. This issue simply gave me chills throughout. It's very inspiring watching Deadman's transformation from selfish blow-hard to hero. The ending line, especially, touched my heart. The most poignant scene, however, was between Dick and his father in which he teaches him the lesson that "you have to learn to miss the jump before you learn to make the jump." Lines like those only boost my esteem for J. T. Krul as a human being...
