Flashpoint: Batman Knight of Vengeance #3 - Part Three by djotaku on August 03, 2011

This mini-series is my favorite from the whole Flashpoint saga.  Not only does it tie nicely back into the main storyline - providing the reason why Thomas' Batman is doing what he's doing, but it also is satisfying on its own.  I was a little unsure after the second issue, but this one really made it work.  The emotions run raw and just describing the plot gave my wife an emotional response.    Definitely worth getting as well as the Back issues if you need them....

Flashpoint is a harsh world where things that would usually happen in the DCU become dark and twisted. So when this Flashpoint filter is applied to Batman the results are down right deviant. No other Flashpoint mini-series I've read goes as far to push the dark version of the main character. Not only that, it takes the ying-yang of the Batman and the Joker and it reappropriates it for the Flashpoint Universe.
