Review: Batman Knight of Vengeance #1
Brian Azzarello has wrote some great stuff in him carree. Does he keep up his great writing in this Flashpoint tie in?
I started off not liking the art so much, but it definitly grew on me. This is a really, good tie in. I think it's great because this Batman is really diffrent. His personality is a bit diffrent and he really dosen't mind killing people. I think the changes that have been made to him is also very creative. Him owning casinos in hopes to draw crime there so he can control it. I think that this is a good twist. I thought Penguin being his assistant was kinda cool too. I loved the fight with Killer Croc, because it definitly showed him as not Bruce Wayne.
Stupid complaint. I hate that Super 8 has been in all my comics. I though it was a really big story, but no, just a really big ad.
THE VERDICT: 5/5 (Flawless)
I love this comic book. I think it makes the reader want to get the next issue. This is such a unique thing for Batman. When he is talking to Harvey Dent, you see that window shading on his face and I though that that could be a cool little refrent to the Dark Knight Returns. This is an issue that I think all Batman fans will want to read. I'm not sure if it is essental for the main Flashpoint series, but it's really good.
