Brian Azzarello has wrote some great stuff in him carree. Does he keep up his great writing in this Flashpoint tie in?  THE GOOD: I started off not liking the art so much, but it definitly grew on me. This is a really, good tie in. I think it's great because this Batman is really diffrent. His personality is a bit diffrent and he really dosen't mind killing people. What makes Batman?  To many, it's the fact that he doesn't kill his enemies.  He rises above that.  Even though he is a vigilante, above the law, he still tries to do things correctly.  But who hasn't grown frustrated at the inability of Arkham or Gotham's prisons to hold Batman's enemies?  Who hasn't wished that, just once, Batman would wipe that smirk off Joker's face forever?  Well, this Batman does!  And it really makes me think about whether I find that cathartic or whether it just goes to ...

Story/Writing Knight of Vengeance is unusual in that what grabs the interest of the reader isn't so much of what content is within the pages as much as what is without. Much of the story is built around the question Thomas Wayne, the Batman of this alternate universe, asks Jim Gordon - "This world is a bad place.
