    A whole new world.

    Flashpoint #1/5

So when I first read this I felt utterly confused and just thrown into this whole new story arc. But when I re-read this I realized this is how Barry is feeling as well and so that changed my whole opinion of this entire issue. Okay so Flashpoint is here and a lot is going on in this issue. A lot has changed since last issue of The Flash which was released the same day as this issue. Atlanteans are going to war with Themyscerians for the world. Batman has become a much more vicious batman and has opened up a whole slew of casinos. Barry's mom appears to be alive, I'm not sure if she actually is. Cyborg has become America's hero and is leading a rebellion of heroes and non-heroes such as, the Outsider, The Secret 7, SHAZAM, Citizen Cold, and many unknown people. Cyborg hopes to have Batman on their side. It seems that no one recognizes Barry so he is an outsider now. Even Iris doesn't know him anymore. At the end Barry drives to Bruce's mansion in hopes of finding Bruce. In the batcave Barry is attacked by the more ruthless Batman and Barry figures out that it's Thomas Wayne!

    The GOOD!

This arc has been long anticipated. A lot is happening in this issue and we're in the same perdicament as Barry. We don't know what's going and why this is happening. The world has just stumbled into chaos. Next issue hopefully will explain a lot of stuff. I liked the whole idea of this issue of Barry not being recognized by anyone except for his dead mom that is alive now. Cyborg's story is really cool and this new Batman looks awesome! I can't wait to see the war between Aquaman and Wonderwoman.

Art: I thought the art was awesome! Andy Kubert was the perfect choice for this story. I love the facial expressions he draws because they really project the emotions he draws.

    The BAD!

This issue had so much chaos that it was a little difficult to follow at times. I mean we were literally just thrown into this arc without any information. So I had a little bit of a hard time reading this.

    Verdict!

Well I think this was a good way to start and epic story arc like this. I am just so excited for what's to come and I think that's what kind of boosted my grade a little because this was the first issue of the arc so I give it a 4.5 out of 5! Pick it up!

      Flashpoint is finally here 0

Cover I love this cover because we finally see that Flashpoint is here and that makes me excited. Story Barry Allen is in a parallel world and every thing he once known is not true. He is not married to Isis, his mother is still, and most importantly he is not the Flash. Best Part I did not know what this story arc was going to bring us and the Road to Flashpoint only gave us hints. So, when I finally picked up this issue I did not know what to expect. The last issue of Road to Flash...

Barry Allen, Not The Quickest Guy 0

It's finally here. Like Age of X, Flashpoint starts off by throwing us into the deep end of a reality unlike the one we know, where familiar faces aren't so familiar and with it unclear why this world is the way it is.I should say now that I'm a sucker for alternate reality stories, even sometimes when they are not done so well. Flashpoint is done fairly well, though. It is made clear in this issue that Geoff Johns and Andy Kubert have put in the effort to make the Flashpoint world a deep and ri...
