Known as the "Scarlet Speedster" or "The Fastest Man Alive", the mantle of The Flash has been donned by five different heroes over the years; Jay Garrick, Barry Allen, Wally West, Jesse Chambers and Bart Allen have all served as the Flash.

Alrighty then if you can pick a hero to be wich one would you pick? The Flash (Barry Allen) or The Flash (Wally West)? and Why?

Barry, I'm a fairly new reader, so I've never read much Wally. 
I liked the few Wally stories I read, but I liked the Barry ones I've read more, and I like Barry's personality and history better.

What you said barry is far superior to Wally? While all speedsters are powered by the force, Wally mainlines the power from the force itself and cannot be cut off from the source, unlike the others. Wally is the fastest of all the Flashes and the fastest man that ever lived. He is arguably the fastest being that has ever existed.He is currently fast enough to easily break all the barriers and even enter the Speed Force. Wally has, on several occasions, traveled much faster than light and been pulled into and exited the Speed Force by his own volition. The Flash is considered to be one of the most formidable and powerful meta-humans on the planet.

Wally.  But I don't care anymore, as long as his costume is noticeably different than Barry's.

They are both fine. I grew up with Wally, but I've read more of Bary. This is a debate that has no right of wrong answer. I think DC Comics could make everyone happy and make them both the Flash.

I like Barry more than Wally. But sometimes I have a hard time telling a difference between the costumes.

I personally choose Barry because I loved his classic Silver Age stories, and Rebirth was one of my favorite arcs of all time. I find him more compelling because he has this unwavering moral compass yet he is not a total buzz kill. I mean, he sacrificed himself to stop Antimonitor in one of the most heroic acts ever seen in comics. Of course this is no disrespect to Wally, who I found to be fun and interesting in his stories but I have just always liked Barry better.

I prefer Wally. Just grew up with the Justice League series (animated) when wally was in there. He is more funny and I enjoyed him more

I guess I'm not sure in DCnU, but in the Johns run on Flash leading up to it, Barry discovered that he was the generator of the Speed Force, so I don't think he could really be separated from it either, and theoretically is more powerful than Wally as a result.

I like Barry, but I wish it was Wally so that Flash could fill the jokester role in the Justice League. Having Hal in that position has been awkward.
