Add an Enemy to Flash
Abra Kadabra
First confrontation: Unknown

Abra Kadabra is a magician from the future-only in the future, there is no magic. Kadabra is insane, and he first fought the second Flash. He used future technology to torment the second Flash. However, he fought the next flash after the Crisis and got obssessed with revenge-Flash stole his audience. He later made a deal with the Mephisto-like demon Neron for real magic-which means that this evil, insane *magician* now is a magical, powerful foe of the Scarlet Speedster. He roams Keystone City among other places.

Alchemist
First confrontation: Unknown

The Alchemist was previously Dr. Alchemy, a villain who used the Philosopher Stone to fight heroes. He was actually the darker side of a normal man's personality-Albert Desmond-and Desmond eliminated the evil thing. However, S.T.A.R Labs stole the Stone and tried to use it in a computer to power it. Desmond reclaimed it and continues to fight the Flash. He is one of Flash's less powerful enemies, but is still extremely dangerous.

Amazo
First confrontation: Unknown

Created by Professor Ivo with revolutionary Absorption Cell Technology. This android can replicate the powers of any metahuman he encounters.

Anti-Monitor
First confrontation: Unknown

The Anti-Moniter is a huge villain of Flash-he killed him! Anti-Moniter was planning to take over the universe. He was repeatedly thwarted by the heroes of Earth-so he tried to destroy Earth with a huge anti-matter cannon. Barry Allen, Flash, who had been chained at the time, broke free and ran faster then light to stop and destroy the cannon. But then he ran so fast that he was absorbed into the Speed Force. Anti-Moniter was eventually killed by Earth-2 Superman, and Wally West (who was Kid Flash then) succeeded his uncle and his hero that had sacrificed his life to save Earth.

Big Sir
First confrontation: Unknown

Big Sir was a major enemy of Flash. He had a huge robotic exoskeleton created by the Moniter. It gave him extreme power, and Big Sir became a criminal against Flash. He was a member of the Suicide Squad, but broke off. Big Sir later joined the Suicide Squad in return for a pardon, where he was killed in action on a small island that had been over-run by flesh-eating ants. It is very doubtful that he will ever return, which, sorry to say, is probably for the best.

Bizarro World
First confrontation: Unknown

The Bizarro World is a cube shaped planet

Black Flash
First confrontation: Unknown

Black Flash is the manifestation of death for speedsters. Normal death cannot catch superfast people, so the Black Flash does. If it catches you, you're doomed. It was spotted before the deaths of Barry Allen and Max Mercury, and can run as fast as Flash himself. He has gone after Wally twice-once he missed and absorbed his wife into the Speed Force. The other time, Flash took him to the end of time, where Black Flash disintegrated. There, death has no meaning-it's the end of time! Black Flash dissapated, but he may come back at any time for the superfast heroes and villains of the DC community.

Black Manta
First confrontation: Unknown

Black Manta has faced the Flash before.

BlackSmith
First confrontation: Unknown

Blacksmith was Amunet Black, and she was one of Keystone City's most successful villains for a long time. She ran the Network for 15 years, a black market for supervillains that sold drugs, weapons, or anything else illicit. She went unnoticed by the police or Flash for a long time, and eventually married Goldface so she could steal some gold elixir, that meant she could merge flesh and metal. She fought for many years to control Central City and Keystone City, and formed the New Rogues-consisting of her, Magenta, Girder, Mirror Master, Murmur, Plunder, Trickster, and Weather-Wizard. They nearly defeated Flash, but he beat them and they were stopped. Eventually, her power turned her skin into metal, which means she is now a much more formidable fighter then previously. She continues to fight the Flash.

Blue Trinity
First confrontation: Unknown

Two evil Russian scientists were defeated by the Flash. They decided to try to recreate him as a clone to attack him. They created a serum. One tested it on himself, and died of gene poisoning. He had tested it on three children. The other trained them to use their power. Though never as fast as Flash, the three kids were so fast that they were a formidable opponent. They took the name "Blue Trinity" and became agents for the Soviet government, who often used them against Flash. They were always defeated by Flash, however. Fortunately, the Soviet Union collapsed and Blue Trinity's whereabouts are now unknown.

Brother Grimm
First confrontation: Unknown

Brother Grimm ruled a magical land in another dimension called Eastwind. However, he grew disillusioned as the ruler of Eastwond and learned of an otherdimensional place called Earth. When he traveled there, he met Kid Flash, who helped him. However, through a misunderstanding, he became convinced that Kid Flash wanted to usurp his throne in Eastwind. He trapped Flash in another dimension with Mirror Master and Captain Cold. But he turned on the villains, and the three teamed up and defeated him. He returned in disguise, but Flash and Hawkman saw through him and he was again defeated, and forever banished to Eastwind.

Capt. Boomerang
First confrontation: Unknown

Over the years Captain boomerang has been a recurring flash villain.

Captain Boomerang
First confrontation: Unknown

There have been two Captain Boomerangs. The current one is Owen Mercer-a huge enemy of the Flash. His father was the original Captain Boomerang, but he had a child with Golden Glider. Captain Boomerang now has superspeed and he can throw or catch a razorsharp boomerang. Imagine a razor sharp boomerang traveling at the speed of sound. That's the danger of Captain Boomerang. He seeks to avenge his father, who was accidentally killed by Flash. He was gone to jail and been tried several times, but always escaped. He is affiliated with the Rogues, who are all dedicated to destroying the Scarlet Speedster. Captain Boomerang also joined the Outsiders for a short time. The first Captain Boomerang had the same powers, but was killed. Cap turned good and no longer chooses a life of crime and seeking vengeance on Flash.

Captain Cold
First confrontation: Unknown

Leonard Smart was a criminal who wanted to become a bigger, more powerful one. He realized that Flash would instantly stop him, though, so he designed a way to even the odds. He designed a freeze gun that could freeze anything, and also do things like freeze people in suspended animation and make walls so brittle he could easily break through them. He battled the Flash constantly and was a major Rogue. Unfortunately, he and the Rogues got in conflict with all-powerful demon Neron and he lost his soul. Flash managed to save him-but Captain Cold didn't care. He picked up his freeze gun and resumed his life of crime and battling the Scarlet Speedster, who now has made it personal. If Captain Cold couldn't stop his war on Flash just because he *saved his soul*, it may be impossible to turn this crook over to good.

Chillblaine
First confrontation: Unknown

Upon Golden Glider’s release—or escape—from a psychiatric hospital to which she had been sentenced, she decided she needed a new partner in crime. She stole her brother Captain Cold’s weapons and outfitted her current lover—a dull-witted hunk who had taken care of her in the hospital—as Chillblaine. Ironically, on their first crime together, she was possessed by Eclipso and killed him. After that disaster, the Glider remained in the background, outfitting other Chillblaines of the same type: handsome, strong, stupid. Few of them had long careers; most were arrested (and abandoned) after their first crime. Eventually someone who wasn’t quite so stupid caught onto her. He played up to it, became the new Chillblaine, and once he had entered into a secret alliance with Abra Kadabra and Polaris, killed the Glider (Flash #113, 1996). However, though he was bright enough to build a machine that would freeze Keystone, he wasn’t in his partners’ league... and they killed him because his grandstanding threatened to lead back to their secret project. At least that’s what everyone thought. He had actually set up someone else to die in his place, then gone into hiding. Eventually he was tracked down by Captain Cold, who killed him to avenge his sister’s death.

Cicada
First confrontation: Unknown

Cobalt Blue
First confrontation: Unknown

The Thawnes and the Allens both burst into a hospital one night-as the women in the family needed their baby delivered. The Allens were having twins while the Thawnes had one child. The doctor was drunk-he accidentally killed the Thawnes' child. So he gave them the Allens' other baby and convinced the Allens the other twin was stillborn. The Allen's child was Barry Allen, who became the second Flash. The Thawnes were con artists who had a blue flame that could steal pain from others. They treated the boy like dirt until he escaped and learned the truth about his past. He killed the doctor and tracked down Barry, who was a cop. Malcolm was the kid's name, and he began to hate Barry. He learned that the blue flame had many powers, so he stole it and contained the flame in a blue gem. He went out to kill Barry Allen, but failed many times. He has also launched attacks on Jay Garrick and Wally West, but to no avail-he simply cannot destroy the Flash.

Computron
First confrontation: Unknown

Willard W. Wiggins was the president of a toy company that started a line of toys-the Colonel Computron toys. Soon, the real Computron came for him in an armored battlesuit-he wanted to kill Wiggins. The man inside Computron was Basil Nurblin, who had created the toys but didn't get any money off them. Computron tried to kill both Wiggins and the Flash, but failed. He later worked for the Thousand Eyes and captured Starman and an experimental transmutation machine. Phantom Lady and Rampage stopped him, and Computron has since faded off into the distance. Either that, or he's dead. With Flash's villains, you never can quite be sure. There also have been other people in the Computron armor, like Luna Nurblin-Basil's daughter.

Dark Matter
First confrontation: Unknown

Flash villain.

Doctor Destiny
First confrontation: Unknown

The Fastest Man Alive, the mantle of the Flash has been assumed by 4 different heroes over the years. All the heroes have been linked

Doomsday
First confrontation: Unknown

Doomsday was built to survive at all costs. Created millenia ago, his cruel and inhumane upbringing and long history of battle have made him a ruthless monster.

Double Down
First confrontation: Unknown

After a losing streak at the Flying Pig Casino, Tell murdered a willing gambler in the parking lot. A deck of cards in the man’s jacket flew out at Tell. The cards burrowed into his skin. Becoming his skin. According to Tell, the cards are cursed. Whatever the reason, he can peel them off and launch them, controlling their movement with his mind. Flat, they can cover anything. Edge-on, they’re razor-sharp and deadly. He is a small-time villain-petty crimes and fighting against Flash is the extent of his villainy. He is horribly annoying to fight, though-the cards do not come off easily.

Dr. Polaris
First confrontation: Unknown

Although a Green Lanter villain,Dr.Polaris has also fought with the Scarlet speedster.

Eel
First confrontation: Unknown

Eel started out as a horribly silly criminal. He had a *grease gun* that made him so slippery that he was impossible to catch. After being often defeated by Flash as Jay Garrick, he reevaluated his strategy. He used old laws no longer relevant to jail people, until Flash used loopholes to bring him to justice. Years later, when Madden was let out on parole, he decided to take the scam a step further. He rounded up his old gang, incorporated the city of Eelton, and hired three dimwits as the figurehead mayor, judge and police chief. They embarked on a massive advertising campaign to bring in residents and businesses. Once enough people had arrived, they began enforcing laws they had carefully crafted, running the town like one big protection racket—with the law behind it. Fortunately for Eelton, Garrick Labs was among the businesses attracted by the low rents, and the Flash found a way to work within the law, harassing the crooks until they gave up and left.

Eobard Thawne
First confrontation: Unknown

Eobard Thawne was the first reverse flash. He also goes by the name Professor Zoom.

Eradicator
First confrontation: Unknown

The Eradicator (not to be confused with the Superman villain) was a "hero" in the same sense that Punisher is a "hero." He is a vigilante who patrols the streets of Keystone and Central City stopping crime-but instead of disabling and catching the criminals, he disintegrates them! He killed many villains, and the second Flash (plus the good old cops) were his enemies. Eradicator was a senator who promised to stop crime. Two angry criminals left him to die at a toxic waste dumping site-but the toxic waste gave him the power to "eradicate" living things simply by touching them and made another personality in his head that wanted to kill all criminals. Eradicator eventually killed himself as the good side, as the evil side was about to murder Flash.

Fallout
First confrontation: Unknown

Neil Borman was a mason who was assigned to work on a power plant. He accidentally fell into the reactor core (it was a nuclear power plant), and he started to constantly put out extreme amounts of radiation. He accidentally killed his wife and kids with the radiation. Depressed, he turned himself in. He was taken to Iron Heights, a prison for Flash villains, but they hooked him up to the power grid. He powered the prison, but was in constant pain and took the name "Fallout". The radiation caused a virus that killed many of the inmates, so Flash found him. He had escaped to his family's graves. He helped design a way that Fallout could power the prison without being in pain and killing people, and Fallout may be slowly recovering-mentally and physically.

Fiddler
First confrontation: Unknown

Fiddler had a natural talent for the violin as a boy, but he was lazy, undisciplined, and naturally inclined to crime. He meandered around the world as a small-time criminal until getting busted and thrown in prison. A snake charmer taught him how to use music for incredible power, though, and Fiddler made a powerful violin. With it, he could make objects explode, hypnotize people, and create powerful walls of sound. He went on several crime sprees, but Flash always stopped him. He was first a villain of Jay Garrick, the original Flash, but went on to fight Allen and West. Fiddler actually trapped Keystone City out of phase with the world for thirty years with Thinker and Shade. Fiddler later joined the Secret Six. He fought in the first battle, but Mockingbird, the leader, was disappointed with his performance. She ordered hm killed. Deadshot, an assassin who never misses, shot him through the head, killing him.

Folded Man
First confrontation: Unknown

Edwin Gauss is an amazing genius, on scale with Batman or Mr. Terrific. Gauss was working for a man who wanted him to treat his daughter, Meredith, for injuries. Gauss was meanwhile working on technology for the man. Gauss developed a suit that would let him travel between the second and fourth dimensions, and quit treating the man's daughter-who died. Gauss used the suit to go on crime sprees and kill people. Eventually, Black Flash caught him, and pineed him to the third dimension. But Folded Man escaped. He continued life as a criminal until he was recently captured, by, of course, the Flash. He currently is in Iron Heights-without the suit. He could easily break free anytime and be at large, though, so Flash and the Keystone law enforcement is wary.

Girder
First confrontation: Unknown

Tony Woodward was a depressed, violent steelworker who was thrown into a vat of steel. This wasn't normal steel-it had been irradiated by S.T.A.R Labs. The steel turned Tony's *body* into steel, and he became Girder. Girder had amazing strength, he could take immense loads of punishment, and he was a living magnet being made of steel. Eventually, he was thrown into prison, but he broke out and joined Flash's Rogues. Girder is currently at large, but has always been unsuccessful in quests to kill Flash and steal to make a living. He is a newer villain.

Golden Glider
First confrontation: Unknown

Lisa Snart's brother is Leonard Snart-also known as Captain Cold, one of the most infamous villains of the Flash. She was a figure-skater, and her coach and lover was the Top-a common enemy of Flash. Top died trying to kill Flash, so Lisa swore revenge. She got razor sharp ice skates that created their own aerial ice and a variety of weapons and went out to kill Flash, taking the name Golden Glider. She fought Barry Allen as Flash and hated him, but eventually Allen was killed in the Crisis On Infinite Earths. She and Captain Cold went legitimate until she returned to crime against the next Flash. She made another freeze gun like Captain Cold's, found a dumb guy to be her lover, and made him Chillblaine with copies of Cap's tools and weapons. Chillblaines kept getting killed in action, though, and she replaced them. The fourth Chillblaine caught on to her. After taking the weapons, he promptly murdered her, ending the Golden Glider.

Goldface
First confrontation: Unknown

Goldface was Keith Kenyon, who developed an invulnerability serum based on gold. He went to find gold with the right properties, but Green Lantern stopped him-so he drank the serum. He got gold-based weapons and armor, became immortal, and gained superstrength. He became a supervillain, but Green Lantern and Flash stopped him again. He began to take over criminal organizations then, as a new plot. Once he had a power base, he moved to Central City and tried to take it over. He killed people who didn't cooperate and wanted to destroy Flash. His most ruthless plot was this-on national television, he said he would kill a police officer if Flash didn't quit. To prove it, he killed one right there. Flash found him and tried to stop him, but him, Eradicator, and Goldface got in a three-way battle. Flash eventually had to save Goldface, who went to jail. Goldface eventually quit and now leads Union 242, the largest union in Keystone. He now operates on the right side of the law, although his skin is still gold from the formula he drank. This poses a problem-the price you pay for villainy, I guess...

Gorilla Grodd
First confrontation: Unknown

Gorilla Grodd was the leader of a secret city called-you guessed it-Gorilla City. Gorilla City was hidden in the depths of Africa, and was populated by apes with the intelligence of humans. Gorilla Grodd was the leader, and he wanted Earth to be ruled by his supersmart apes. Unfortunately for him, Flash has foiled him countless times, sending him to incarceration either in Gorilla City, Keystone City, or nearby Central City. Grodd has psychic powers and amazing strength, and he is constantly getting more brutal, evil, and savage-consequently making it harder and harder to stop him. Unless the Flash keeps the good heroism work up-he may succeed in his deranged quest.

Griffin
First confrontation: Unknown

Griffin Grey was the roommate of Bart Allen and a factory worker who hated authority and older people. He gained superpowers accidentally, and decided to become Keystone City's major hero. He would kill criminals he caught, though, so long as he got the credit. However, he started aging prematurely, so Griffin kidnapped Jay Garrick. Garrick was kept young by the Speed Foce, so Griffin hoped Garrick could make him linked to it so he'd stay young. Eventually, Bart accepted the mantle of the Flash and went after Griffin, saving Jay. Finally, Griffin decided he would win public opinion. He damaged a bridge secretly and decided to save everyone on it, proving himself a hero. However, Flash got there first and saved everyone on the bridge. Griffin died in the chaos, a victim of his greediness and lust for adoration. He was Bart Allen's first villain.

Heat Wave
First confrontation: Unknown

Mick Rory was always fascinated by fire. He always burned things and liked to watch fire. Eventually, as a joke, his friend locked him in a freezer. Mick escaped, locked his friend in a house, and set it on fire. He then realized he was a pyromaniac. He was obssessed with fire, it was a disease-he burned things down for no reason to watch them burn. Eventually, he decided to channel that into making money. He developed a gun sized flamethrower and asbestos suit, and became Heat Wave. Heat Wave often fought Flash, and he was a major enemy. He also was a huge rival of Captain Cold, who was nearly his polar opposite. Heat Wave was one of the major Rogues, and like the rest, he lost his soul to Neron. Flash saved him, and Heat Wave reformed and used it for good (although he still struggled with his pyromania). Eventually, it turned out it was only programming that turned him evil. Top came and undid the programming, and Heat Wave has returned to crime,

Inertia
First confrontation: Unknown

A man named Thawne wanted to subvert Bart Allen, the Flash, to evil. He couldn't do it, so he cloned Allen. The clone had slowed development instead of Bart's accelerated development, and grew to Bart's age in the 30th century. He was put back in time to now and wanted to replace the real Bart Allen. He took the name Inertia and wanted to take down Flash. Inertia was just as fast as Bart, which proved to be a problem. He joined Deathstroke's Titans East team, and his name is Thaddeus Thawne. He also tried to kill Max Mercury in an attempt to draw Bart to him. He eventually realized he was just being used as a tool of Thawne, who was his grandfather. He quit his war against Bart, disgusted. He eventually turned back to war against Flash, though. Inertia also wants the Speed Force for himself, and he continues his war against Bart Allen-the Flash.

Kobra always plans to rule the world, but has been repeatedly foiled by Flash and also by his twin brother, Jason-who he murdered. Kobra has a vendetta against Linda Park, who alerted Flash to one of his schemes and helped him stop Kobra's plot. Eventually, Kobra fought the Justice Society of America, and was killed in combat by the Atom-Smasher.

Lady Flash
First confrontation: Unknown

Lex Luthor
First confrontation: Unknown

A cultural icon, Lex Luthor has from being a stereotypical mad-scientist silver age comics villain at his inception to arguably one of the most complex and intriguing characters in comics today
