The Return of Barry Allen last edited by ScottyHawkeye on 10/25/21 03:21PM View full history

During Mark Waid's popular run on THE FLASH, the fan-favorite writer penned the now-classic story "The Return of Barry Allen" — featuring the miraculous reappearance of the Scarlet Speedster of the Silver Age!

Now the previously sold-out collection of this storyline returns in this new printing. This fast-paced volume reprints THE FLASH #74-79, where current Flash Wally West faces his uncle Barry — seemingly back from the dead — with open arms. But what is the incredible secret behind his reappearance?

The RETURN OF BARRY ALLEN features a host of other super-speedsters, including Golden Age Flash Jay Garrick, the reintroduction of Johnny Quick, and the first reappearance of the zen master of speed, Max Mercury! Capping off this volume is a sensational new cover by Brian Bolland — an homage to the cover of SHOWCASE #4, Barry Allen's first appearance!
