    Very good, but no Batman in it 0

    Overview First Wave introduces us to a new Universe, nicknamed The Pulp Verse because It has Doc Savage, The Spirit, and Batman. This Batman uses a gun but Doc and The Spirit are basically the same. Writing & Plot Part of this story is a retelling of  the original Doc Savage from 1993, The Man of Bronze but it also combines some original material with that story.     There are so many elements thrown to the table, that´s difficult to say what this story is about, but a great and exciting thrill with some exquisite art from Rags Morales and the beautiful colors of Nei Ruffino - saying Azzarello added too much in this issue is accurate, but somehow (he gives hints) all the characters and the plot are connected, what makes this story that started with a man running from a lethal robot from confusing to interesting - this is a fantastic display of many character...
