    Overview

The most important story to ever hit the Top Cow Universe arrives in July! Witchblade writer Ron Marz (ION, SAMURAI: HEAVEN & EARTH) pairs with Croatian painting sensation Stjepan Sejic (THE DARKNESS: LEVEL 1, WITCHBLADE). Sara Pezzini, on leave from the NYPD, awaits the arrival of her child. But unknown to her, epic events are unfolding. Agents of the Angelus are seeking a new host, but first they want mob boss Jackie Estacado out of the way ... permanently. The cold war between Dark and Light is heating up and the stage for the next incredible year is set here!

    Notes:

    • The San Diego Comic-Con and Wizardworld Excusive Variant Cover is a homage of the August 1991 issue of Vanity Fair featuring a pregnant Demi Moore.

    Beautiful and Amazing 0

This "First Born" story has been built up as the big event in the Top Cow universe. They were right. I've been waiting to review this out of fear of spilling the beans. I have been drawn back to these characters that I used to read in the last decade. This is just such a huge issue. It really pulls out all the stops in setting up what is going to happen. My only hope is that they will be able to keep up this momentum.I loved seeing all the different characters being pulled in to this story...
