Jaeger finds Brigham scrubbing a blood stain at a crime scene. Jaeger verbally prods him, wary of Brigham's precarious state of mind and propensity for lying.
After Brigham finishes up, Jaeger meets Rachel after school and walks her home. Rachel panics when she discovers their apartment door kicked in, thinking that Brigham has come for them. Jaeger explains that he was the one who broke the door down, which turns Rachel's terror at her father's return into anger at Jaeger's callousness (despite Jaeger explaining he plans to repair the door and that he did it because Emma had locked herself out.)
Emma cuts off the argument with the announcement that they just settled a deal for a home in the Grass House, and that they need to start packing to move immediately.
