It was slim pickins this week, and the only comic that really stood out at all was this one. It was enjoyable, the rogues backing out of crime and then being forced back in. I was a big fan of the artwork, however, one of my buddies despised it, which brought on an hour long debate. I recommend picking it up, it's a small week for books. Get the Cold cover, it reminds me of Darwyn Cooke's work....

I have to admit to not really liking the red covers for The Finalbooks. So I got the Captain Cold one. The Rogues Gallery has always been one of my favorite villain teams. I like the fact that there was never any real "world domination" plots. They knew their place and were happy to be where they were. Also the brotherly bond between them give them a touch of humanity other villain teams are not allowed. Ultimately you get to see them as a family as much as any other superhero team. This book...

If Geoff Johns has proven one thing to us(out of the many great things he has accomplished as a writer in the industry) it's that he knows how to use the Flash's villains. And this start to the three issue mini series seems to be a way of fixing what had been done poorly with the Rogues in the last year(starting with them killing Bart Allen, being hunted as fugitives, and being put onto a prison planet with other villains during Salvation Run).
