Vandall Savage who has now been identified as Caine, the first son of Adam and Eve, and the first person to commit murder has taken control of the Spear Of Destiny. With it he enslaves the Spectre and seperates him from his human host.
Now this is the book you go to if you want an end of the world feeling. There is more tension here in this one issue than all five of the books I have reviewed from the central story line.
Very exciting and at times frightening, Greg Rucka has really penned a great story that leaves you wondering how far will it go. The art by Phillip Tan is top notch also. There just seems to be a lot going on in nearly every panel.
The coloring by Nei Ruffino though still remains this books secret weapon. All the elements to this book just gather to prove that the satelite mini series are far better than the central story.
