I love Final Crisis. This is the event of the year unlike the secret ass piece of shit invasion. Grant Morrisson is brilliant. Lets go through the plot developments.
Alpha Lantern Kraken is defeated and Granny Goodness is revealed. She injures a guardian and Hal Jordan is cleared. This shows how the guardians were wrong to place their faith in the Alpha Lanterns. I would like to see morrison write Green Lantern.
Checkmate are creating Biomacs and want Renee to join them. I have to wonder when this takes place compared to Revelations and from Resist what happened to the OMACS?
Darkseid's servants try to gain praise from him. I think he kills them in the end but not totally sure.
Mister Miracle is revealed to have survived the shot from last issue and tells Checkmate to paint Metron's symbol on their faces. I love the part when Sonny Sumo says the Motherboxx is like if gods made I-pods that were alive but better. Love Super Young team.
I love Kalibak and his tiger army. Good choice. The heroes attack Bludhaven. Black Adam attacks Mary Marvel. Now he says he saw a leering old man in her eyes. My guess is Desaad because his new body hasn't been seen in Final Crisis.
Nix gets thrown into a prison because he resists anti-life equation. Also in the prison are the new forms of Metron and Highfather from Seven Soldiers Mister Miracle. Metron gives him his drawing. Nix remembers Weeja Dell's name. I love the part where Metron says nobody has solved the rubix cube under 18 moves and he solves it in 17. Nix turns into some new form. Metron says he is the judge of all evil. So cool!
Libra kills Calculator for allegedly sending the unternet to the heroes last issue. It is hinted that Luthor did it though. One thing that bothered me was when Libra said he will let Luthor rape Supergirl. Why??
Great issue. Best in the series. Great balance of action and plot setting.

Ultimately this flaw makes me not care what happened, worse i do not really care where it is going either. I can not even tell you how the story got to this point. I will admit to absolute stupididty when it comes to my understanding of this series so far.
As I read it, this is another failed issue in a failing series. Great Art though.
