    D.O.A.: The GOD of WAR!

Everything. I've had my problems with Countdown, 52 & Infinite Crisis, each one from the start... And this one delivers right from the start. If you're not reading this, then something is wrong, or you're one of those Marvel Zombies. The only stuff that was just "agh" for me was the Monitor bits, I just don't care. Everything else, A+

    D.O.A.: The GOD of WAR!

After reading Infinite Crisis, 52,  and Countdown, you know that this issue is basically the first step of what's to come.

They have the main characters ready to be influence the events that are going to happening  in this issue. I may or may not spotted some clues what will happen in the future. My first thoughts on Final Crisis is that it's been about two years since the last Crisis, and I wonder what's going to be in store for DC Universe dning and after this. I just hope that they don't pull a One More Day on us.

    D.O.A.: The GOD of WAR!

I'm am still reading the mini series due to its effect on the whole DCU but I have no idea what's going on.  The story is all over the place showing tidbits here and there and remains thoroughly confusing for me.  I don't follo DC comics nearly as much as I do Marvel but I'm not sure your seasoned DC reader would get to much of this thing.  It needs to focus on something long enbough for the story to develop.  I found the art to be adequate, but not amazing like many of the artisits who work on Marvels' big titles.

    D.O.A.: The GOD of WAR!

Death Destruction mayhem and a rebirth in the guise of a 1920's gangster. I love the noir undertones right now. The question is will it hold up? Back alley deals and deicide? Overall it has promising start especially considering last time we saw Orion he was commiting patricide.spoiler The Dark Side club and the crime boss persona is giving a great sinister tone to the introduction. I am not overtly sure about Libra and this giving every villain what they want line and the murder of Martian Manhunter. This idea seems slightly played out and perhaps unecessary. I am however very interested to see where they are going with the historical bridges. I do like the idea of this playing out as a cosmic crime story with the stakes being more then just a city block but the whole of the world with protection money going to every ones nightmare in a black pinstripe suit.
