    This volume collects four issues previously uncollected in any other Final Crisis-related collection. It includes Final Crisis #1: Director's Cut, which contains an uncoloured version of the first issue, the original script and a page-by-page commentary from writer Grant Morrison and artist J.G. Jones, Final Crisis: Secret Files, which tells the origins of Libra, Final Crisis: Requiem, where the heroes of the DC Universe mourn the loss of their friend J'onn J'onzz and try to carry out his final wishes, and Final Crisis: Resist, where Mr. Terrific, Snapper Carr and Checkmate try to fight back against Darkseid and the Anti-Life Equation.

    A Mixed Bag in terms of Quality 0

    This volume is more difficult to review, because instead of containing one united story it contains four smaller, independent ones. Therefore, I’ll give my thoughts on each story independently, before sharing my opinion on the volume as a whole:Final Crisis #1: Director’s Cut is an interesting, but not essential read.
