    A fruit is a date

    The good:
That opening scene is just amazing. Continuing from last issue, Alex starts an argument with Scott Lang about actually ending Doom. It's a very emotional scene where we get to see a little bit of vulnerability coming from Lang and some confrontation from Alex. It's a darker part of the book that works very well in a series that is extremely lighthearted.

Second aspect of the book deals with knowing a bit more about the Human Torch. Is it the guy we all know or an imposter who invented the whole Doom story? It's a very fun scene seeing how everyone seems so sure that it is Johnny Storm, but at the same time they are still very hesitant. This will be a major turning point of the series when we'll actually know more about this mysterious man from the future and linking it with the whole ''end Doom'' is what gets it even more interesting.

The core of the issue deals with Jen's date and everything around it (the Moloids, Bently and the amazing cliffhanger at the end). Jen and Wingfoot are on a date forcing the Moloids to seek Bentley's help to cause the date to become a disaster. This is the light side of the book Fraction is creating and it proves, just like everyone else is saying, how comic books can be fun and enjoyable even after all these years of creativity.

The art is just spectacular. It might not suit every book on the shelves today, but it hits its mark with this one. We can see how both Allred's put a lot of effort in this book, making it even more fun to read. Every single issue we get a least a couple of imaginatively created panels that are not present in every book out these days.

    The bad:
I can't say anything bad about this issue. Of course it won't please everyone, because it concentrates on a date, which can't be interesting for everyone.

    So what's the verdict?
This series is amazing. Fraction and both Allred's are creating a fresh and very fun book, although this issue proved that we'll get heavier moments like the opening scene. The cliffhanger, the new Human torch and the whole ''ending Doom'' part is what makes the series so intriguing and leaving us for wanting to know more.

Now that the whole surrogate team is all together, it's time to start exploring the characters more. Unlike the iconic main Fantastic Four, this FF is a new team. These characters have their history, but as a team they're completely new, and the Future Foundation is still a fairly recent group themselves. This issue really builds upon the various interactions between the characters, especially between the temporary FF and the Future Foundation.Ant-Man came up with a pretty drastic and massive sc...

FF is the epitome of fun within the Marvel line-up nowadays (followed by the Amazing X-Men and Mighty Avengers), especially considering some of the dreary and super-serious titles. Well, this issue certainly shows us just how fun it can be, with a quick, somewhat non-consequential story that looks to do nothing but be silly. And it exceeds expectation.More or less, the plot is that She-Hulk goes on a date-but-not-date, and the aliens, Mik, Torr, Turk, and Tong, get a wee bit jealous. Thus, shena...
