DOOM Comes to the FF 6

In a brilliant move Hickman hinted at in Fantastic Four #583, Doom has arrived and some members of the Future Foundation are not happy. The Good Can Doctor Doom work side-by-side with the FF? There has been moments in the past but from the opening pages, you see what a jerk Doom can be, especially when bantering with the Thing. Doom is their #1 enemy and now they are forced to work together as a result of a deal made between Doom and Valeria. Hickman shows us that this is clearly a different book...

    Guess Who's Bizzack! 2

Doom's membership in the Future Foundation is revealed and it hits the fan with the force a F5. Valeria lives up to her promise to restore Doom body and mind and we discover his end of the bargain...  The Good$2.99 price tag. Marvel should take note and draw the line... I've been a huge fan of Daniel Acuna since I saw his stellar work on Marjorie Liu's run on Black Widow. I'm beyond pleased that he's the cover artist for this series. This cover of Doom is just awesome and fully encapsulates ever...

What's This? TMM Reviewing a Marvel Ongoing? 1

The Good: It should've been said in the first issue, but I didn't review that one; I REALLY like the new uniforms/costumes. They look cool, and they perfectly represent the big expansive new era of the FF. They look like the next step after the Fantastic Four, and that's exactly what they are.The dialogue is amazingly well written. It's all deep and emotional, but not overbearingly. It's full of nice subtleties and banter. The characters are all extremely well defined without relying on overdoing...

All hope lies in Doom? 0

I was never a big fan of the Fantastic Four myself, I always thought that this small team would never fullfill the needs that a comic book has regarding character development and evolution, mostly because it was about 4 people (ok, sometimes there are other characters like Silver Surfer, She-Hulk, even Dr. Doom, but mainly this has always been a book about the fantastic four) and since Jonathan Hickman took over the wheels of these characters, it´s like he immediately set course for a new...

    Not. In. The. House. 0

Recommended! No one likes the idea of Doom joining the "Club"... well except maybe Valeria, her father and her Grandfather. Everyone else seems pretty weary. Ben gets more clobbering time in this issue than he has in a while... which may be nice, if he wasn't ruining all the fine amenities of the Baxter Building. What really impressed me in this issue was Sue. She is SO different than she was in the original series 50 years ago - it is well deserved. in my opinion, she has the potential to be the ...
