This book is going a great job as the penultimate book before the story climax that has been years in the making (since Hickman started his Fantastic Four run). It successfully weaves together all the threads he's presented - the Cult of the Negative Zone, Anihilus, The Interdimensional Reeds, and the Kree. The only thing missing is Doom.It also does a great job blending everything that makes a great story. It was my favorite book this week. We've arrived at the last bit of calm before the storm. Next month we get 100 pages of F4 and another issue of FF and I have a feeling a lot of things are going to be different.Boy, everyone, remember the Inhuman digression a few months ago? Recommended!While this is another setup, "rally the troops" issue, it certainly is not boring. It is full of interesting twists and turns - and one shocking reveal that left me speechless.One thing about this issue, as compared the last few, is the increased amount of time spent with "the children" at the Baxter building.
