    History

A scholar by trade, the man who would become Fetor was swept up in the vampiric plague that struck Europe in 1349. He joined forces with five other men and fought against the undead creatures. These paladins were selected by the church to receive sorcerous powers, to aid them in their struggle. Fetor was given olfactory based powers, which he used in conjunction with his own studies of the dark arts.

Like his brethren - the Warlocks - Fetor was banished to the Ashen Realms when the church betrayed them. Over the centuries, he grew in stature in power, second only to Vigil, their leader.

Fetor was inadvertently summoned to Earth by the mystic Covenant; though they sent him away again, he managed to slay all of their number but Barnabas Sinclair. Since then, the Warlocks have sought to reopen the gateway to Earth.

In preparation for their return, Fetor and Seize were sent to Earth to kill a scientist who had almost created the cure for HIV. Such a cure would have hindered their ability to survive on Earth. Fetor slew the man, but had to return to the Ashen Realms quickly, before his powers broke down on the still inhospitable Earth (a process known as the Unbinding.)

After Vigil destroyed the Elemental Lords, and altered the primal balance enough for the Earth to sustain the Warlocks without the Unbinding taking place, Fetor joined his fellows as they returned to their former home.

    Powers and Abilities

Fetor's powers are based primarily on the sense of smell. His body constantly emits an acrid, acidic cloud of green vapor. The vapors dissolve solid materials, such as flesh and bullets, on contact. He can extrude vaporous tentacles with which to attack foes at a distance. Fetor's vapors are very responsive to his moods, forming symbols or figures that are indicative of his inner thoughts. It sometimes appears to act on its own volition, even when Fetor sleeps.

Fetor is also a powerful necromancer, though not quite as powerful as Vigil.
