FeFo#71 All Color!!! Working for General Gordon can be a risky proposition, as Colt finds out, when she ends up in prison for the document theft he hired her to pull. But-through her efforts, the FF at least learn the original culprit who stole the Garganta formula was - Marilyn Macabre, daughter to the good doctor himself, leader of the League Of Alternative Science. While Craig Williams, formerly The Hood, is savagely murdered by his old enemy, The Vulture's Claw, the FF use a little deception to both bring him to justice, and down the villainous League. But at the climax, "double agent" Darkfire disappears. Whose side was she on, anyway? "The Mayhem Of Dr. Macabre" is written by Bill Black, drawn by Dick Ayers, and inked by Mark Heike. It guest stars Kitten, with cameos by Catman, Dr. Bartholomew Watson, Rocketman and Jetgirl, Dr. Simon Nadeau/The Player, The Avenger, The Hood and Reddevil. Minor GTS scenes with Tara/Garganta. And in the back-up story, Black Phantom has been brought to Dr. Jonathan Weir, an old hand at orienting heroes out of time. He explains what has happened to her, and helps her explore her new powers when he sends her on an important mission to... The Limbo Void!. "Black Phantom Meets The Purple Claw" is written by Bill Black, with art by Chris Allen.
