Review for Fear Itself #7.1.

The Story: We learn of what actually happened to Bucky in Fear Itself.

Thoughts: I will admit that my biggest flaws with this issue is that I have not read anything of Brubaker's Captain America epic run. Meaning a lot of this falls a bit flat for me, all im going to say is that it's all very interesting and it will obviously be very important for the future. Honestly I really like this issue mostly because Brubaker has found an incredibly clever way to bring Bucky back and to undo his moronic death at the hands of Fraction.

The Verdict: Very good issue that sets up future Captain America storylines but it doesn't really do much for me since I haven't read Brubaker's run. This is a buy.

With Fear Itself having finally dragged itself to a conclusion, Ed Brubaker and Butch Guice are free to continue their Captain America story which had to be put on hold to service the cheap drama of Marvel's latest big event. Though nothing that happens in this issue is really a shock, it is a welcome turn of events and satisfying to finally have this story moving once again.I'll say this now. Spoilers lie ahead. I figure if you haven't read this issue yet you at least already know or have accur...

Death and Reincarnation seems to be a pretty common occurrence in the comic industry as of late, however my hat goes off to Brubaker on this issue for trying to make the best of a terrible situation. So the events of Fear Itself have left a major hole in the heart of Steve Rogers after Bucky falls in combat to that crazy hammer wielding psycho, which was quite disappointing to see; and at the time seemed like a insult to all the hard work Brubaker and other artists went through to bringing Bucky...
