This super sampler is the perfect place to check out two sensational series from the DC Kids line, Young Justice and Batman: The Brave & The Bold, based on the popular animated series seen on Cartoon Network. It includes two exciting, all-new stories that readers of all ages will enjoy!

Young Justice

Young Justice spring into action to stop Psycho-Pirate from stealing plutonium from a research facility. The pirate quickly uses his Medusa Mask on the heros. Frist he makes Kid Flash overly anxious over the fact that the Flash has never truely excepted him. Next he exposes Robin's fear that he will never be as great as the Batman. He makes Superboy, Aqualad and Miss Martian feel alone and unwanted in a world not their own.

Because of his sped up metabolism Kid Flash is able to break free of the Medusa Mask's effects before the Psycho- Pirate escapes. He steals the mask and the plutonium back but is stopped by the Atomic Skull. The Atomic Skull reveals that he was behind the thief in the first place. It takes the whole team to stop him from stealing the plutonium. He gets away but the team feels better about themselves and there young little team.

Batman:Brave and the Bold

A fundraiser is going on in Gotham and all the rich attendees are wondering where Gotham's leading playboy Bruce Wayne is during the party. The guest take turns bashing the millionare for being aloft and unreliable.

Meanwhile Bruce Wayne, as Batman, saves a young girl from a fire and teams up with The Flash to track down Heatwave and his unusal partner Firefly. The two hero's use team work to defeat the villians.

Back in Gotham as the fund raiser is winding down Alfred shows up with a blank check from Bruce Wayne and this act of generousity shuts up all the snobs.

 Free Comic for 2011, Young Justice and Batman stories combo. Let's start with the bad: The Young Justice story "Face Your Fears" was a total disappointment for me as a fan to the animated series. This story was obviously written for totally brand new fans. It is nothing more than a reintroduction of the Young Justice team members by expressing the fears each member has that makes up their basic personality in the show & comic.  Luckily the story isn't alone.  Batman: The Brave and the Bold ...
