Fawcett is best known as being the publisher that created Captain Marvel, who at one point eclipsed Superman in sales during the Golden age,Eventually forced out of business by DC, they gave up rights to Captain Marvel and his associated characters. They can still mostly be found at DC today.

Most of the characters have been used sparingly since DC's Crisis on Infinite Earths officially brought them into the DC Universe. The rest of the Fawcett characters have not been seen any publication since Fawcett's partial buyout in 1980. The Monster Society has seperate pages for their members.
